Artist At Sea Residency

In 2019, I was invited to participate in a residency at sea with the Schmidt Ocean Institute aboard the Research Vessel Falkor. During our 27-hundred nautical mile journey — from Honolulu, Hawai`i to Suva, Fiji — we mapped areas of the seafloor into the South Pacific. This was an exciting opportunity to work with scientists and cutting-edge technology to use art as a communications tool for information outreach.
